YORK (AP) — Maine State Police said a 50-year-old man was seriously injured when his car collided with a moose on the Maine Turnpike.
Cpl. Jerry Carr said Keith Hanson of Sabattus was driving north in York when the moose crashed through his windshield at about 7 p.m. Saturday.
Police said Hanson was seriously injured.
According to the Portland Press Herald, Hanson’s wife, Lori, suffered injuries to her face and hands, but the couple’s 7-year-old daughter was unhurt. Keith Hanson was in critical condition Sunday, the Press Herald reported.
