LEWISTON — Police Monday night were still looking for a man who robbed a Rite Aid mid-afternoon Monday of the opiate pain reliever OxyContin.

According to police, the man walked into the Rite Aid at 315 Main St. and demanded the drug. He left by a side door with an undisclosed amount. Police began searching the area for the man, who was described as being about 6 feet tall, wearing a green snorkel parka that covered his head and face.

Police wouldn’t comment on whether the robber had a weapon.

At about the same time, police were involved in three other arrests, including one directly across the street from the Rite Aid in a Central Maine Medical Center parking lot. Lt. Mark Watson said all three arrests were for warrants and were unrelated to the robbery.
