RUMFORD — Funeral services for Cecilia Rafuse Shurtleff of North Windham, formerly of Rumford and South Berwick, were conducted Saturday at the Rumford First Baptist Church, Rumford, with the Rev. Samuel Maruca and Rev. Glendon Gammon officiating. 

Organist was Susan Dolloff. Music selections included “In the Garden,” “When We Gather at the River” and “How Great Thou Art.”

The Old Rugged Cross, Hymn of Promise, Face to Face with Christ My Savior, God Be with You Till We Meet Again”.

The Rev. Samuel Maruca read the poem “The Traveler” and read a letter from Linda Phillips. The poem “I’m Free” was read by granddaughter Denise Richard. Words of remembrance were given by granddaughters, Deborah Young and Deirdre Shurtleff.

Pallbearers were Diane Paterson, Doreen Shurtleff, Deborah Young, Terry Whitney, Stephen Shurtleff, Ashley Young, Al Richard and Vincent Oden. Committal services were conducted by Rev. Glendon Gammon and Rev. Samuel Maruca. Interment will be at Sunnyside Cemetery, Rumford. A Reception followed at the home of Denise and Al Richard of Dixfield.
