The swimmers completed a total of 58.53 miles in four hours and raised $3,769.60. With a $2,500 matching pledge from the Modern Woodmen of Lewiston, the total raised was $6,269.60. “People still have time to pledge their school to help the swimmers reach their $10,000 goal,” said Pam Gallant of the YWCA of Central Maine.
