LISBON FALLS — The Lisbon Falls Baptist Church and Lisbon Revitalization Promotions Committee will host the annual Christmas tree lighting at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at the town gazebo on Lisbon Street.
The community is invited to come and sing Christmas carols, have a hot cup of cocoa and a cookie.
At about 5 p.m., Santa Claus will light the Christmas tree and visit with children.
Immediately after the tree lighting, the community is invited to continue the celebration at the Lisbon Revitalization Promotions Committee’s, “A Very Merry Main Street,” until approximately 8 p.m.
The merchant open house in the downtown will include horse and wagon rides, sweet treats, special sales and photos with Santa. Entertainment will include Present Company playing Christmas carols at Drapeau’s Costume Shop and Steve Hildonen playing Christmas tunes at Tangle’s Hair Salon.
