Promising newcomers: Freshmen — Ashley Coulombe (5-1 guard), Kylie Kempt (5-6 guard).
Key losses: Courtney McFarren (guard).
Outlook:
Wing, a veteran with both Monmouth boys and girls programs, takes over for Amero, the new Monmouth athletic director. The Mustangs have most of last year’s club back. Monmouth is still small, but they’re athletic and work hard. The Mustangs expect to improve upon last year and be a competitive club in the MVC.
