FARMINGTON — Open registration for spring semester classes is under way for Central Maine Community College (CMCC) courses, including those being offered in Franklin County.

Spring semester classes in Franklin County will be offered at four locations: Foster Tech Center, Mt. Abram High School, Rangeley Lakes Regional School and the Career Center in Wilton.

The live courses offered include “College Writing,” “Technical Writing,” “Intermediate Algebra,” “College Algebra,” “Statistics,” “Public Speaking” and “Critical Thinking.”

“Sociology of Family” and “Intro to Sports Management” are being offered as online/hybrid courses and “Medical Specialties” will be delivered via video teleconferencing.

Courses in Franklin County are made possible through a collaborative effort between CMCC and the Franklin County Community College Network (FCCCN). Information about scholarships offered through the FCCCN is available at www.franklinnetwork.org.
