AUBURN — A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday for Dr. Fernand Chabot at St. Louis Church following prayers at The Fortin Group Funeral Home. Rev. Branden Harnett officiated, assisted by Rev. Frank Murray. The first reading was proclaimed by Denise Ham, a godchild. The second reading was read by Madeleine Reed, also a godchild. The Prayer of the Faithful was read by Alexandra Chabot, a grandchild. The offertory gifts were presented at the altar by Nicole Chabot-Wieferich and Dave Pope, grandchilden. Words of rememberance were shared by Kristen O’Neill, grandchild, and Carmen Pope, daughter. Rev. Harnett recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
