STRONG — Funeral services for Darlene Rowe were held Tuesday at the Strong Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor Evans co-officiating with Richard Dorian, executive director of Leap, Inc. Jim Emerson was the organist and the congregation sang “Great Is Thy Faithfulness,” “Such Love” and “Jesus Loves Me.” “Over the Rainbow” was a featured vocal. Stacy Haines led a reading from her daughter, Meghan, both friends of Darlene’s. Darlene’s daughter, Hailee composed and sang a song in honor of her mother. Heidi Jordan, executive director of the Franklin County Animal Shelter offered a remembrance and Darlene’s husband, Marcus wrote a letter to his wife that was read. Matthew 25:45 was a featured verse and Allen Hamlin offered a rendition of the 23rd Psalm. After the services, refreshments were served and hosted by Darlene’s employer, Leap, Inc. Gordon Huff Jr., Todd Huff, Carroll Clark, Galen Dalrymple, Richard Dorian and Darryl Wood served as bearers. Funeral services were cared for and provided by the Wiles Remembrance Center, Farmington.
