MEXICO — The following incidents were handled recently by the Mexico Police Department.

Theft

A Valley Road, Peru, woman reported at 4:09 p.m., Jan. 23, that someone had taken her purse while she was shopping at Walmart. The purse was later turned in to the customer service desk. Missing were two money orders and a small change purse with a total value of about $130.

Vandalism

A Backkingdom Road resident reported at 5:32 p.m., Jan. 19, that someone had broken windows and entered her garage. So far, nothing has been reported missing.
