EAST WILTON – A Life Celebration Service for Glenys W. Gilbert of Farmington, on the occasion of her Home-Going, was held Saturday morning at the East Wilton Union Church with the Rev. Stephen Park officiating. Glenys’ favorite scriptures, Proverbs 3:5 and Psalm 73:21-26, were read. Special music included “Redeemed How I Love to Proclaim It,” “I Just Keep Trusting My Lord,” “Little is Much When God Is in It” and “Make Me a Blessing.” Personal remarks were offered by Park and his wife, Colleen, Hal and Linda Stone, Rhonda Wiles-Rosell, special friend, Christine, and her children JoAnn and Bruce.

A time for remembrances from the congregation was offered by the Rev. Park. Following services, all were invited to a reception in the church undercroft, hosted by the Women’s Fellowship. Winter entombment at the Wiles Remembrance Center, Farmington. Spring burial will be at the Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Civic Center Drive, Augusta.
