DAR meeting
LEEDS — Mary Dillingham Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, will meet at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 9, at Pike’s Oasis. Willoughby Wight will be the guest speaker.
Any woman over the age of 18 is eligible to join DAR if they can prove a direct blood line to a Revolutionary era patriot. DAR has genealogists available to help with research and documentation. Danville Grange meeting
AUBURN — Members of Danville Junction Grange will meet on Thursday, March 10, at the hall for supper at 6 p.m. The meeting starts at 7 p.m., and CWA Night will be observed with guests filling the offices. The program will be presented by the Committee on Women’s Activities. Members are reminded to bring their scones for the cooking contest. All members and guests are invited to attend.
Commerical Travelers meeting
MECHANIC FALLS — Twin City Council 160 of the United Commercial Travelers of America will meet at 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, at Bucknham Oaks. Officers for the new year will be installed. A potluck supper will be served at the close of the meeting. All members and guests are invited to attend.

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens Cribbage League winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on March 3 were:

Santorum to speak at Bates
WATERVILLE — A representative from Thomas College will visit Edward Little High School in Auburn at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15, and Lisbon High School at 1 p.m. on March 15.
