FARMINGTON — The American Cancer Society’s Daffodil Days will begin the week of March 14 in Franklin County.
Local volunteers will sell bouquets, potted plants and this year’s limited edition Boyd’s Bear, Liv N. Hope, at various locations in Jay and Kingfield.
Funds raised support the American Cancer Society’s efforts to prevent cancer or detect it early; by by being there during and after a cancer diagnosis; by finding cures through investment in research; and by rallying lawmakers to pass laws to defeat cancer.
To purchase Daffodil Days products, visit the following locations on Thursday and Friday, March 17 and 18: Verso Paper, Otis Credit Union and Food City in Jay and Tranten’s General Store in Kingfield.
All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society. For more information, call the American Cancer Society at 1-800-227-2345.
