Revival services

NORWAY/MECHANIC FALLS — The Mechanic Falls and Norway Church of the Nazarene will be hosting 10 days of revival services with Evangelist Chuck LaCombe. Services will begin at 6:30 p.m. on March 18, 19, 21 and 22, and at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 20, at The Mechanic Falls Church of the Nazarene, 5 Oak St.

Services will continue at 6:30 p.m. on March 23-26 and at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, March 27, at The Norway Church of the Nazarene, 10 Grove St. Everyone is welcome.

Class of ’49

RUMFORD — Members of the Stephens High School class of 1949 will meet for their regular monthly meeting at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23, at Sam’s in Virginia.

Medicare Bingo

NORWAY/RUMFORD — SeniorsPlus will offer Medicare bingo on its mobile office from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, at the Norway Town Office, and from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, March 31, at the Rumford Community Home.

Participants will experience bingo with a twist and go away with new information on SeniorsPlus services and how to spot and report Medicare fraud.

Reservations are required due to limited space. In the event of snow or ice, the mobile office will cancel its trip. All events are free and open to the public. For reservations, cancellations or more information, call 1-800-427-1241.

Girl Scouts

MEXICO — The Girl Scouts will host a movie and pizza informational event for all scouts and anyone interested in joining from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, at Region 9 School of Applied Technology. Registration deadline is Thursday, March 24.

The event will include the movie “Ramona and Beezus,” an introduction to the newest Journey series, “It’s Your Story – Tell It,” and activities for all ages.

The cost is $1 for registered Girl Scouts. Non-scouts pay an additional $12 membership fee. Financial assistance is available.

Drop-in program

NORWAY — The Norway Memorial Library will be hosting a Family Game Day drop-in program from noon to 5 p.m. on Friday, March 25, for children ages 6-12, their parents and friends. A selection of board games and card games will be provided.

This event is free and no registration is necessary. Available games to play include Monopoly Junior, Scrabble Junior, Uno, Picktureka and Clue Junior. If your child has a favorite game, feel free to bring the game to share. For more information on children’s programs, contact the Norway Memorial Library at 743-5309 ext 4.
