LEWISTON — Funeral service honoring the life of Charles Hinkley were celebrated Friday by the Rev. Lionel Chouinard at the funeral home. At the beginning of services, words of remembrance were shared by Chuck’s cousin and lifelong friend, Carl Hinkley. A longtime employee of Chuck’s from Sabattus Regional Credit Union, Lucille Terrio shared her many years of employment memories of him, and Chuck’s best friend, Dan Gousse shared all the great times and what each other’s friendship meant to one another. Also in attendance were officers and board members of our local area credit unions. At the conclusion of services, all in attendance were invited to greet the Hinkley family with their own personal condolence. Graveside committal prayers will be held later in the spring at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sabattus. Arrangements by Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home.
