Annual meeting
MECHANIC FALLS — The Mechanic Falls Historical Society will hold its annual meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23, at the Historical Society, 64 Elm St.
A review of the society’s activities in 2010 will be discussed. Election of officers and board of directors will also be undertaken. The society welcomes all who wish to participate.
Sugar house
MINOT — West Minot Grange #42 will host West Minot Sugar House on Maple Sunday, March 27.
Breakfast will be served from 7 to 11 a.m. The menu includes pancakes, bacon, sausage, coffee, juice, maple syrup and maple butter.

LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Social Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Monday, March 21, were as follows:
1st: Dick Allen and Pete Cummings; 2nd: Larry Fortier and Roger Labbe; 3rd/4th tie: Helen Little and Sue Kaluzynski with Marta Clements and Priscilla Rooth
Games are played every Monday and Tuesday at 9 a.m. and every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Schooner Estates, 200 Stetson Rd., Auburn. A partner is guaranteed at all games. Call Rosemarie Goodwin at 754-1431 for information about all duplicate bridge games in the area.
