COLCHESTER, Vt. — Ashley Whittemore, daughter of John Whittemore of Hollis, N.H., and Katherine Taylor of Readfield, is spending the spring 2011 semester studying abroad in Switzerland, India, China and South Africa through a program run by Saint Michael’s College. Whittemore is a student at International Honors Program.

Whittemore, a junior sociology major at Saint Michael’s, a liberal arts, residential, Catholic college located in Burlington, graduated from Maranacook Community School in Readfield.
