MEXICO — The Mexico Police Department responded to 30 calls during the past six days. Among them were:

Burglary

A burglary was reported at 11:51 a.m. April 11 of a residence on Worcester Street. Someone smashed in a back window, causing $300 damage. Mud footprints were found in the basement. Nothing appeared to be missing. The house has been vacant for about a year. Police have a suspect.

Vandalism

A patron of Tommy Guns on the Roxbury Road reported at 8:04 p.m. April 8 that someone had smashed her vehicle’s windshield, resulting in about $300 damage.

Assault

Police responded to an assault between a man and a woman at 12:56 a.m. April 9 at Tommy Guns. The case is under investigation.

Credit card scams

A Fifth Street resident reported at 4:31 p.m. April 5 that someone attempted to gather credit card information during an unsolicited phone call. At 9:28 a.m. April 7 a Granite Street woman reported a similar attempt. Neither person revealed personal information.
