AUBURN — Announcement is made of the engagement of Sandra K. Mitchell and Daniel R. Scott, both of Auburn.

The future bride is a graduate of Nathan Hale High School in West Allis, Wis., and also attended Milwaukee Area Technical College. She moved to Lewiston in 1974 and worked for an insurance company for more than 25 years. She then found her current job of receptionist/secretary at the C.W. Hayden Company in Auburn, where she has worked for 11 years. Her parents are deceased.

The future bridegroom is the son of Maynard and Natalie Scott of Buxton. He is a graduate of South Portland High School and then from Southern Maine Vocational Technical Institute with an associate degree in fire science. He then worked as a firefighter/paramedic for 37 years and has since retired.

The wedding will be held at 11 a.m. on July 9 in Lewiston.
