Tenebrae at Trinity
FARMINGTON — Trinity United Methodist Church will hold a contemporary musical Tenebrae Service at 7 p.m. on Maundy Thursday, April 21. The Trinity Choir will be presenting “We Remember Calvary.” In addition to the choir singing, this musical includes narration by Pastor Terry McKinley; congregational singing, the Lord’s Supper, and the extinguishing of seven Tenebrae candles as we remember Christ and his last words. Each candle will be extinguished throughout the service and all will leave the service in darkness to the song “Amazing Grace.” Michael Bolduc has built a tenebrae candle holder for this worship service.
