The TRiO program at Central Maine Community College in Auburn awarded scholarships at a recent reception. This federally-funded program provides a variety of services for academically under-prepared students who meet specific eligibility requirements. The TRiO grant provides funds to help minimize the loan burden for students who participate in the program. Applicants must maintain a good GPA and participate in several TRiO services to be considered for the awards.
