- Traffic cones on Saturday morning warn drivers to avoid this sinkhole on River Street in Rumford that appeared to be more than a foot deep and longer than a yard wide underneath still-collapsing pavement. A Rumford Public Works crew repaired and repaved another sinkhole that appeared last year just north of the new hole.
