JAY — The Police Department will conduct an all-terrain-vehicle safety course and is looking for people interested in taking part.

The course will be offered from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 25, in the basement of the Jay Community Building.

There is no charge to the public for the course. The class is limited to 15 students. Children 10 to 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult throughout the class. Each student should bring a lunch and a helmet if they have one.

The class will be taught by Cpl. Jeff Fournier and Detective Richard Caton IV, both state certified ATV instructors. Anyone wishing to take the course may call the Jay Police Department between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at 897-6766.
