‘Dance Out Loud’

TURNER — Sandy’s School of Dance and students from Turner, Leeds, Greene, Lewiston, Poland, Livermore Falls and Buckfield will present “Dance Out Loud” at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 12, at Leavitt Area High School. Tickets are available at the door for $9.

FRYEBURG — Maine and Northern New Hampshire Jr. Hereford members are holding a take-a-chance auction Friday, June 17, at the Fryeburg Fair Grounds in the Agricultural Center. The auction viewing is from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. with the drawing starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 for 25. There will be a $1 table and a 50/50 raffle.

Members are Jessica Smith from Troy, Carrie Butterfield from Chesterville, Harrie Gushee-Kimball from Fryeburg, Raymond Gushee-Frost from Fryeburg, Alex Clark from Winslow, Meg Hall from East Dixfield, Sage LeBlanc from Dayton, and Erik and Anna Fredrickson from Wolfeboro, N.H. They are raising money to go to the Hereford Jr. National Show in Kansas City, Mo., July 9-19 to show and participate in other events like showmanship, illustrated speech, team marketing, team fitting, grill cook-off and type shows.

Pork supper

WILTON — There will be a public supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 18, at the Harland M. Harnden Masonic Hall, 70 Bryant Road, East Wilton, to benefit the Masonic building fund. The menu will be roast pork, mashed potato and gravy, vegetables, rolls, homemade pies and beverages. $8 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Bible school

JAY — Area children are invited to attend the annual vacation Bible school at Bean’s Corner Baptist Church June 20-24. The church is located at the intersection of routes 156 and 133.

This year’s theme is “Son Surf Beach Bash,” which includes lively songs, skits, crafts, games, snacks and the message of Jesus’ love.

Daily sessions will run from 9 to 11:45 a.m., with a closing program Friday, June 24, at 11 a.m.
