‘Dance Out Loud’

TURNER — Sandy’s School of Dance and students from Turner, Leeds, Greene, Lewiston, Poland, Livermore Falls and Buckfield will present “Dance Out Loud” at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 12, at Leavitt Area High School. Tickets are available at the door for $9.

Pantry open

OTISFIELD — The Food Pantry will be open from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 13, and from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, June 21, at Spurrs Corner Church, Route 121. Solstice hike

BRIDGTON — Loon Echo Land Trust will hold their solstice hike up the Bob Chase Trail at the Bald Pate Mountain Preserve in South Bridgton at 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, to celebrate the first day of summer. The short hike takes 20 to 30 minutes, with 300 feet of elevation gain, to the rocky summit of Bald Pate Mountain.

Participants are invited to play a musical instrument, read a poem or express a thought about summer or their connection to the environment.

Participants should meet in the Bald Pate parking lot in South Bridgton, just past Five Fields Farm on Route 107. Bring water, snacks, hiking boots, a rain jacket and bug spray. The hike will be canceled if there is a thunderstorm or moderate to heavy rain.

NORWAY — A diabetes program, “Strategies for Coping: When your spouse or significant other has Diabetes,” will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, at Stephens Memorial Hospital’s Harper Conference Center, 181 Main St.

PARIS — Raw foods chef and coach Elizabeth Fraser will be at Personal Best Health Club, 141 Western Ave. in South Paris, on Friday, June 24, from 7-9 p.m. sharing information, recipes and food.
