LEWISTON — A funeral Mass honoring the life of Ernest A. Lavoie was celebrated on Friday at Holy Cross Church following prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home. Monsignor Marc Caron celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. At the end of the Mass, words of remembrance were expressed by Mr. Lavoie’s daughter, Jolene Juneau. A reception of fellowship was held at Marco’s Restaurant following the services at the cemetery.
