Coffeehouse

DIXFIELD — The Dixfield Coffeehouse Series will present Ellie Buckland and Friends, a gathering of musical friends performing in various combinations throughout the evening, beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, June 17, at the Dixfield Congregational Church. The concert will celebrate Ellie’s graduation from high school and recent acceptance to Berklee College of Music. Traditional and contemporary American indie-folk-pop, and fiddle tunes in the Franco-American and Celtic traditions will be the standard fare for the evening.

Joining Ellie and her father will be a number of friends including Abby Flanagan, Lena and Zak Kendall, Emily Ramsey, Ruth Hill, Louisa Stancioff, Seth Wegner, Silas Rogers and surprise special guests.

The Dixfield Congregational Church Annex is located directly next to the Dixfield Congregational Church on High Street. Tickets are $5 at the door. Children under 12 accompanied by an adult are free. Coffee, tea, soda, iced tea and homemade desserts will be on sale throughout the evening.

Gymnastics

RUMFORD — The GRCC summer gymnastics camp week is for any interested children from the age of 2 1/2 to 18. This camp is designed for a child to try out the gymnastics facility, with all of the individual gymnastics equipment, the tumble track and the obstacle course at the Great Rumford Community Center.

These classes are set up for the pee-wee and younger children to be in the gym from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday, June 20, through Friday, June 24, for $40. Classes from 10 to 11:30 a.m. are $60.
