NORWAY — Selectmen Bill Damon and Warren Sessions Jr. won re-election Tuesday. Damon got 127 votes; Sessions received 130.

“I enjoy doing that job very much,” said Damon, who added he has been on the board for at least 20 years.

Damon said he wants to continue to work to make sure Main Street is a viable downtown.

Neither Damon nor Sessions had any competition.

Also on Tuesday, Oxford Hills School District Director Donald Gouin was re-elected with 140 votes. He has served on the board for the past 24 years.

Patricia Brophey and Christopher Miller were elected to two open seats on the Board of Trustees of the Norway Memorial Library. Brophey got 137 votes; Miller got 129. Trustees Dareth Law and Errol Libby did not seek re-election.
