WILTON — The Wilton Public Library has announced its summer programs and special events. The summer reading program, “The Art of Reading,” will kick off with a theatrical performance by The Little Red Wagon Theatrical Troupe at Academy Hill School gymnasium at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 29. Registration and goal setting will begin on Tuesday, June 21, and the program will run through Friday, July 29.

Storytime will take place on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. and on Thursdays at 6 p.m. Arts and crafts will be offered on Fridays at 1 p.m. Visits from Maine authors and illustrators and guest readers from the community are also part of the program. A special treat will be a trip to the Wilton Blueberry Farm. The summer reading program is open to young people of all ages, from preschool through young adult.

The infant/toddler storytime will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 23, and will continue throughout the summer.

Other summer events include a fundraising raffle and book sale during the Blueberry Festival.
