LIVERMORE FALLS — Police charged a local teenager Wednesday in connection with two burglaries at homes on Pleasant and Knapp streets.
Jonathan Adkins, 18, of Livermore Falls was charged by summons on one count of theft by receiving stolen property, police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said Thursday.
Some of the property stolen Tuesday from the residences was recovered in his possession, he said. The property is linked to both burglaries, he said.
Among the items stolen were jewelry, cash, prescription medication, a digital camera, and a PSP player with seven games.
The burglaries remain under investigation, Steward said.
Adkins is scheduled to appear in Lewiston District Court on Wednesday, July 13.
