Summer program
RUMFORD — An open house will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, June 30, at Rumford Elementary School to register campers for the Summer Adventures Program.
The program will run from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, July 5-29. Space is limited.
Sammie Angel
DIXFIELD — There will be a free outdoor concert by vocalist Sammie Angel at the Dixfield Village Green from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, July 2. Bring a chair or blanket.
Horseshoes
RUMFORD — There will be a horseshoe tournament Monday, July 4, at the Hosmer field complex. This will be hosted by the Rumford/Mexico Horseshoe Club and is a open tournament with luck of the draw partner double elimination format. Sign up starts at noon. Games will begin at 1 p.m. There will be a 50/50 raffle along with refreshments available. Bring your own lunch as there will not be any vendors open until 5 p.m. FMI call Mark at 357-9674.
Variety show
ANDOVER — The Andover Food Pantry will hold a variety show for a fundraiser at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 9. The variety show will be held at the Andover Congregational Church and will feature local and visiting talents.
