Fireworks
LIVERMORE — A fireworks show will be presented by Barnyard All Terrain at 10 p.m. Saturday, July 2, at the junction of Route 108/Boothby Road and River Road. Open to the public.
Fireworks provided by Central Maine Pyrotechnics of Hallowell. Barnyard Thunder Row will perform at 9:50 p.m. to kick off the show.
Strawberry fest
INDUSTRY — A Strawberry Festival supper will be held beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 9, at Industry Town Hall. Menu includes ham, mashed potatoes, vegetables, salads, beverages and strawberry shortcake on homemade biscuits. Adults are $7 and children under 10 are $3. Benefits the United in Christ Presbyterian Church and Starks Progressive Club.
Benefit supper
JAY — A benefit supper for Brian Lee of Livermore will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 9, at Amvets Hall, 111 Main St. Lee is having a kidney transplant.
The cost for adults is $7, children 12 and under $3. Raffles and 50/50 tickets will be sold. For advanced tickets or to donate, call Cathy at 897-3286.
North Jay Day
JAY — North Jay Grange #10 will celebrate North Jay Day with a food and craft sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 9. Lunch items available for eat in or take-out. Front Porch Music from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Also celebrating North Jay Day are the following: Jay-Niles Library will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. upstairs for a book sale; North Jay Fire Station will be open for tours and displays; Bartlett Memorial Methodist Thrift Shop will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Grange supper
JAY — A public supper will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 9, at the North Jay Grange hall. Dinner music. Menu includes baked beans, casseroles, potato, pasta, fruit salads, cole slaw , hot dogs, meatballs, beverages and desserts. Adults $7, 10/under $3. FMI: 645-2910, 645-4628, 645-2217.
Yard sale
SALEM — The Salem Pine Tree Club will host an indoor yard sale with many new items from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 9, at the Salem Community Building. Table space is available for $5 each. There will be a bake sale, some craft supplies, a baked table, puzzles and books, along with the usual yard sale stuff. Public supper
WILTON — There will be a public supper at the Wilton United Methodist Church on Main Street from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, July 9. The menu will consist of baked beans, chop suey, hot dogs, cole slaw, homemade bread, pickles, beverages and fresh strawberry shortcake. $8 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. Proceeds to benefit the mission and ministry of the church.
Lake meeting
INDUSTRY — The Clearwater Lake Improvement Association will hold its annual meeting and celebrate its 100th anniversary on Sunday, July 10, at the Industry Town Hall. The meeting will start at 12:30 p.m. with a potluck dinner. All members and interested persons are urged to attend. Bring your favorite food dish to share with others. Soda, coffee and water will be available.

JAY — A Belgian waffle breakfast will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Sunday, July 10, at St. Rose Parish Hall, Church Street. $5 per person. All proceeds to benefit the “Good Neighbor” Tri-town Ministerial Association Fuel Fund.
