Bean supper
PARIS — An old-fashioned bean supper will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 2, at First Baptist Church at the top of the hill.
The meal includes baked beans, brown bread, hot dogs, casseroles, salads, desserts and beverages. The cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children 12 years and under. Ten percent will be donated to the food pantry.
Park concerts
OXFORD — The Anderson-Staples Post 112 of the American Legion will host four free “Concerts in the Park” this summer at the post, corner of Route 121 and Skeetfield Road.
The first concert will be the The Bridgton Bavarian Band on Tuesday, July 5. On July 19, local favorite the Jones Dance Band will play. Kora Temple Shrine Concert Band will play on Aug. 2. The Record Family Band will play on Aug. 16.
Concerts start at 6:30 p.m., rain or shine. The auxiliary will have refreshments available. There is adequate parking and handicap accessible restrooms. Bring a chair.
