Bake, yard sale
LISBON FALLS — United Methodist Church on School Street will have their annual bake sale and yard sale all day Saturday, July 9, as part of the annual Moxie weekend.
At noon, there will be a luncheon with lobster rolls and crab meat rolls, hamburger and hot dog meals, including rolls, cookies and chips.
Society moving
AUBURN — Maine Franco-American Genealogical Society will be closed during the month of July for their impending move to a new location.
The move is due to the city’s condemning of the old section of the Great Falls School building which was built in the late 1800s.
MFGS will reopen the first week of August at their new location on the second floor of Fortin Funeral Home on the corner of Center and Turner streets.
