- River Valley Rotary Club President Richard Allen and incoming club president Kelly Greene hold a $2,000 donation recently made by the club to Rotary International for its effort to help eradicate polio. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has pledged $300 million if RI can raise a $200 million match. Every club is challenged to raise at least $2,000 a year to help meet the match. RI has raised nearly $160 million toward the match so far.
