LEWISTON — The second annual “Sandy’s Ride Cancer Sucks!” fundraiser will take place on Sunday, July 10.
Sandy’s Ride was put together in 2010 to help a young woman battling colon cancer by raising a few funds to assist her with some of the expenses that she would incur as she began chemotherapy.
This year supporters will again be riding for Sandy as she is still fighting for her life. Participants will gather at LA Harley at 10 a.m. The motorcycles will leave at noon for a 60-mile ride that will be filmed by the Ridin’ Steel crew and return to LA Harley, where there will be music, food and raffles. The event will last until 6 p.m.
