Eugene P. Elcik, a town of Lisbon native, made a guest appearance at the May 11 meeting of the Lisbon Historical Society. He provided the audience with information on what he believes it takes to be a writer of fiction. His passion for writing was evident as he presented his ideas, told of his journey and answered questions. A social followed. Refreshments were provided by members of the historical society. Elcik will return to the Lisbon Historical Society for a book signing during Moxie Days, July 8 and 9.
