RANGELEY — A Pennsylvania man’s sport utility vehicle went down an embankment Wednesday night after leaving Moose Alley Family Center on Main Street.
Mark Mealy, 40, of Shippensburg, Pa., thought he was driving down the driveway of the business and made a sharp left turn and went down a steep embankment, Rangeley officer Ron Wood said.
His 2004 Toyota Sequoia ended up with two tires off the ground, he said. He almost rolled over.
Mealy was uninjured in the 10 p.m. accident, Wood said.
Koobs Garage workers hooked a cable to the SUV and pulled it out.
Wood estimated there was $2,000 in damage done to the vehicle.
