The White Owl Duo will be in concert at 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 15, at the Hartford Town Hall, 1186 Main St., Route 140. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Adult admission is $8, couples $15, children $5. The Pinpoint of Light Spiritualist Camp will host the educational, family-oriented concert of traditional Native American music played by Laura Lee Perkins on Native American-style flutes and Kenneth Green on drums and rattles. Perkins has three published books about Native American flute and Green handcrafts flutes, drums and rattles. They also have recorded five professional CDs. In addition to performing, the White Owl Duo teaches classes on playing the Native American flute and making turtleshell rattles throughout the United States.
