The RIF Program provides three free books for students K-6 district-wide (2,000 students) a year. It is through a grant and participation in the read-a-thon that makes this possible. Each school relies on volunteers to hand out books three times a year. Representatives are Susan Harvey and Maury Blake (Hebron), Melissa Chase and Sarah Wilson (Paris), Terry Merrill (Agnes Gray), Michelle Huckins (Otisfield), Jen Edwards (Harrison), Dorene Vail (Guy E. Rowe), Samantha Murch and Patricia Logan (Waterford) and Lucy MacBean and Dacey Rodriquez (Oxford). To volunteer for RIF, contact Dorene Vail 527-2335.
