DIXFIELD — Members of Stephens High School Class of 1949 will meet for their regular monthly meeting at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, at The Front Porch.
Children’s cancer
RUMFORD — Maine Children’s Cancer Program is seeking walkers for the Maine Children Cancer Walk being held on Saturday, Sept. 17. This is MCCP’s 25th year for the walk.
A meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, downstairs at the Snowshoe Club on Waldo Street. Please attend if you are interested in walking individually or forming a team. Also invited is anyone who has ideas for activities that day such as face-painting or who would like to help in other ways.
Historical society
MEXICO — The next meeting of the Mexico Historical Society will be at the Society Museum at 5 p.m. Thursday, July 28. This will be the annual potluck picnic meeting. The grill will be available. There will be a brief informal business meeting during the meal. Call Bob Daigle at 364-2224 for more information.
