- Twelve-year-old Mason Strunk of Eustis Ridge will perform during the 7 p.m. Friday night program of Rangeley’s Logging Festival on July 29 at the Church of the Good Shepherd on Main Street in. Strunk, who plays mandolin, guitar and is beginning to play piano, has performed many times at his father, Jack’s, restaurant, The Rack, on Sugarloaf Mountain. In 2009 at Saddleback Mountain, Strunk and his three-piece band opened for veteran folk singer Jonathan Edwards. Also as part of the festival, Franco-American fiddler Don Roy will play his award-winning music at the museum field throughout the afternoon on Saturday, July 30. The logging museum is at 221 Stratton Road on Route 16, one mile east of Rangeley.
