OXFORD — Pastor Lloyd Waterhouse of Grace Fellowship Church invites area children to vacation Bible school, “PandaMania,” at the Grace Fellowship Church, Poplar Street.

The school will run from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday, Aug. 8 to 12. It will be a week of experiences and fun for children age 3 to teens. Staff asks that the children be potty trained. Parents are welcome to stay during Bible school hours.

“Everyone is busily working and excited about bringing this ‘PandaMania’ theme to Bible school,” said Waterhouse. “They are planning to make this a great week for the kids to learn about God’s Word in a fun way. They will enjoy Bible lessons, Chadder Theater, snacks, games, crafts and music. They will meet characters such as Fez, Amanda, Boomer, Pogo and Lulu. I know the kids will have a great time.”

There will be a closing program at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, at the church. Parents and friends will hear the children sing, tell some of the things they did that week and share the experiences they had. Refreshments will follow the program.

For more information, to request a registration form or to arrange a ride, call Jo Bradeen, Bible school director, at 784-7224 or 754-0909.
