- Despite occasional rain showers Thursday, activity for this weekend’s Camp Creek was ongoing to prepare for Friday’s 11 a.m. opening for festival-goers. The three-day event features Max Creek and about 40 other bands. Putting up the snow fence along the Pottle Street side of the Oxford Fairgrounds are Brian Goerg, Gerry Cassin and Ethan Hammond of New Haven, Conn. Vendors began to arrive on the grounds Thursday.
