- “We wanted to get here early because we thought it would get busy later,” said Jen King, right, of Auburn as she set up a tent with Ray Dumais of Lewiston at the first annual Redneck Olympics on Friday morning in Hebron. The event kicks off at 9:30 a.m. today with opening ceremonies and a host of competitions such as bobbing for pigs’ feet, a wife-carrying contest and lawnmower races. Bands will perform all weekend. Tickets are $20 at the gate at 12 Harold Lane off Route 124 in Hebron.
