LEWISTON — 4PLAY will perform from 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13, at the Lewiston Eagles lodge on Sabattus Street, as part of the “Support Our Own” motorcycle run and barbecue benefiting U.S. troops in Iraq and Afgahnistan.
The goal is to collect disposable razors, toothpaste, deodorant, soap and other supplies, as well as games. Any cash donations will be used to buy supplies.
Breakfast will be served from 10 to 11 a.m. at the New Auburn Social Club. The motorcycle run will depart at 11:30 a.m. from New Auburn with stops at the New Gloucester Eagles, Windham Eagles, Gray American Legion and the Past Time Club. It will end at about 5 p.m. at the Lewiston Eagles lodge, where there will be a pig roast.
Riders will eat for free. Others will pay $5. The cost for the ride is a donated item.
