Church fundraiser
LOVELL — Lovell United Church of Christ is seeking to raise a challenge goal of $70,000 to achieve its building and renovation project, “Operation Renovation.” They have already received gifts and pledges in the amount of $63,835, which is almost 92% of the challenge goal. The church is grateful to the leadership gift donors and others who have already responded so generously to the appeal.
Capital Campaign Consecration Sunday and Celebration will take place Sunday, Sept. 4. At the regular 9:30 a.m. worship service the current pledges and gifts will be consecrated. The church hopes that those who have not already registered a pledge or donated will be able to get questions answered and will be moved to pledge on the card that will be offered in worship that day. The goal is 100% participation, whether it is one penny, one dollar or more.
