RUMFORD — After services on Aug. 21, 20 members of the Rumford United Methodist Church met at the home of Mary and Jim Pulsifer for a picnic and planning session. The church already is the institution behind the GRAMPS Community Lunch and members donate weekly to the GRAMPA Food Pantry with both food and money.

On Sunday, Sept. 11, the Rumford Church, the Rumford Center Church and the Bethel Church will combine for a service at the Rumford Center Church. The “Glorification Singers” will lead the service again this year with lunch to follow. The public is invited. Transportation can be provided. Contact Pastor Carol Stevens at 364-8703.
