- Pete Glover, of Dixfield, casts a fly Wednesday afternoon under clear skies on the Swift River in Rumford. Life is starting to return to normal after Tropical Storm Irene caused a large surge on the river. Waters were still high, but Glover said he was hoping to get a bite.
