ANDOVER — Snow Valley Sno-Goers will hold a regular meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, at the clubhouse, Route 5. All interested persons are invited to attend.
Historical group
PERU — The Peru Historical Society will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, at the Peru Historical Society Building.
Square dancing
PARIS — The Swingin’ Bears Square Dance Club will host beginner square dance classes from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays, Sept. 14 and 21. The first three lessons are free at the Oxford Hills Middle School, Pine Street. The lessons will be intermingled with workshops for experienced dancers of various levels who will be ‘angeling’ the beginners. Ray Hilton of Saco will be teaching.

RUMFORD — The Stephens High School Class of 1955 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, at Brian’s Bistro for their monthly luncheon meeting.
Pot luck, tour
RUMFORD — The Rumford Historical Society’s September meeting will be a “Pot Luck Fall Welcoming Supper” at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, at the Rumford Point Congregational Church.
Those attending are asked to bring a favorite hot or cold casserole, salad or dessert to share. Eating utensils and beverage will be provided. Following the meeting, a tour of the sanctuary will be given to view its trompe l’oeil paintings done in the late 1860s by a famous painter of that era.
